A message from our president

Welcome to the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It’s an honor to serve as chamber president again this year, representing an organization that has been a beacon of unity, progress, and empowerment for our community.

I would like to share some information about myself with those I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet. I was born and raised in Salinas, California, and moved to Fresno in 2006 to obtain my master’s degree in Social Work from CSU Fresno (Go Dogs!). I am a licensed mental health clinician, and my experience in the mental health field allows me to deeply understand the vital intersection of mental health and the business community. During my tenure as president, we have brought awareness to the demands of the corporate environment that can take a toll on our mental well-being at our annual Latina Women’s Conferences. I have a passion for being of service and am committed to strengthening our community through advocacy, education, and leadership.

As your CCHCC president, I am filled with gratitude for the unwavering support we’ve received from every one of you. Your dedication has been the driving force behind our success. Together, we have overcome challenges, celebrated triumphs, and built a legacy we can all be proud of.

Thank you to each business owner, advocate, student, and supporter. Thank you for being the heartbeat of this chamber, for your dedication to our shared goals, and for making our community stronger with each passing year.

Last year we celebrated our 40th anniversary. In these four decades, we’ve witnessed the strength that lies in our diversity and the power that emerges when a community comes together. Our achievements are a testament to the resilience and tenacity that define us. From flourishing small businesses to educational initiatives making a lasting impact, we have collectively shaped a brighter future for generations.

As we embark on the next chapter, let us carry forward the spirit of collaboration, understanding that we can achieve even greater heights together. I look forward to our new and continued partnerships and continuing to be a resource to our Hispanic business community.
