A message from our president
On behalf of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce I cordially welcome you to our website. Since its inception in 1983, our Chamber has been recognized and respected for its impressive stature in the community fostering economic growth in the Central Valley. Our mission is to promote business from start up to fruition, utilizing the success of our diverse community and the resources of our chamber members. We provide education and networking opportunities along with access to capital and other business connections. We foster economic growth that creates and sustains prosperity for the benefit of all people while promoting the awareness and preservation of the Hispanic culture in our area
After a difficult 2020, we understand the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on small businesses. The CCHCC board of directors has been working on a strategic plan to help businesses recover. I believe that 2021 will give us the opportunity to reconnect with another and bolster a stronger economic community.
I look forward to reconnecting with our CCHCC family welcoming new members to our chamber. My goal is to bring back in person events to give our current and potential new members opportunities to network, starting with our Swingo De Mayo golf tournament and scholarship fundraiser. We are in the process of planning our Latina Women’s Conference and Dia De Los Negocios Business Expo; and our monthly Amigo luncheons and Ribbon cutting events will continue to be the staple of our chamber activities.
If I have had the pleasure of meeting you, I probably have shared my extensive experience in the mental health field and my commitment to creating a stronger, healthier state of mind for our members and communities. The recent pandemic increased our stress, which not only affected our physical health but our mental health as well. During my tenure as President, my goal is to create a synergistic approach to mental health and come together as a community to support one another.
It is an honor to serve as your President this year and please do not hesitate to reach out to me should you have any questions about our Chamber. (sonia@cchcc.biz)
